Charlie Johnson Obituary-Death News; Popular Accountant and Footballer, Charlie Johnson Found Dead

An inquest has heard that the body of a well-known accountant and footballer who vanished from his home was discovered in Stockport woods. On September 21 of this year, Charlie Johnson, 26, a Cheadle Hulme resident and Manchester native, was reported missing by his family.

 

On Tuesday, September 26, his body was tragically discovered in a “wooded area” off Lugano Road in Bramhall. The hearing was informed that Mr. Johnson was a single accountant by trade.

A complete hearing has been scheduled for April 8 of next year, with Ms. Mutch stating that an inquest was “clearly required.” Prior to the hearing, the coroner stated that she would be requesting reports from Mr. Johnson’s doctor and “other relevant agencies.

Following Charlie’s passing, AFC Stockport, for whom he had previously played, posted on Facebook: “It is with sad sadness that today we say RIP to Charlie Johnson who briefly played for the club last season. Charlie scored 9 goals for our Rangers team in 7 games. R.I.P. Charlie Your family and friends are in our prayers.

Bosden Farm FC, situated in Stockport, stated: “It is with great sadness that we share the news of Charlie’s passing. We want to express our gratitude to everyone who joined forces to find Charlie.
