The Schuylkill Center in Pottsville was the location where Carol A. Reiseg, who resided in Shenandoah and was 81 years old, died away on Tuesday, December 12, 2023.
Her parents, Louis and Clara (Huss) Stenaka, both passed away before she was born on June 6, 1942. She was their daughter.
Her husband, Reynold Reiseg, her daughter, Pricilla, and her nephew, Kenneth, all passed away before Carol. Her parents were also among those who came before her.
There are two sisters who are still alive in the family: Arlene Leitzel and her husband Ron, who live in Barnesville, and Louise McCool, who lives in Easton. Additionally, there are two nieces, three nephews, several cousins, and grand nieces and nephews.
At the Oravitz Home for Funerals Inc., located at 40 N. Jardin Street in Shenandoah, there will be a visitation for family and friends on Monday, December 18th, from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM. At ten o’clock in the morning, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Divine Mercy Parish, which is located at 218 W. Cherry Street in Shenandoah. Msgr. Ronald Bocian will preside over the proceedings. Immediately after the funeral, the burial will take place in the Annunciation BVM Cemetery located in Shenandoah Heights.
