Cade Wolfe Aircraft Accident; US Service Member Passes Away in Eastern Mediterranean Sea Aircraft Training Accident

Five US service members lost their lives in a horrific airplane crash that occurred on Friday night over the eastern Mediterranean Sea. Among them was Mankato, Minnesota native Cade Wolfe, who passed away from wounds he received in the incident during a training flight. T

he US European Command (EUCOM) was conducting military training when the incident happened during a routine air refueling operation.

Following the incident, swift search and rescue efforts were launched; however, all five of the service members on board the helicopter perished.

It’s still unknown what exactly happened, including the conditions and the exact moment in the flight when the tragedy happened. An investigation is presently underway into the incident.

“Jill and I are praying for the families and friends who have lost a precious loved one – a piece of their soul,” said President Joe Biden in expressing his condolences.
