Brianna Rachelle Higgins Obituary News: Police identify 15-year-old Lawrence girl killed in Olathe shooting.
The Olathe Police Department is currently investigating a shooting which led to the death of a juvenile female.
According to the department in a media release, on Friday, January 19th, 2024, at approximately 10:51 p.m., Police Officers were contacted at Olathe Medical Center regarding a 15-year-old female who had been driven to the hospital with an apparent gunshot wound.
Officers on scene assisted with bringing the female into the hospital for life-saving measures, but she was declared deceased, police said.
The victim has been identified as 15-year-old Brianna Rachelle Higgins of Lawrence, Kansas. At this time, all involved parties have been identified and contacted.
It has since been determined the shooting occurred near the 16900 block of West 127th Street.
