Brian James Crubaugh Obituary, Native Of Dodgeville Passes Away At 66

In the company of his daughters, Dodgeville resident Brian James Crubaugh, 66, died away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024.

He was born on February 22, 1957, and in 1975, he received his high school diploma from Dodgeville. Working long hours at the Quality Bakery and serving generations of local customers with delectable delicacies, Brian was a force to be reckoned with. In 1979, he tied the knot with Julie, the love of his life, and they recently marked 44 years of marriage. Working early shifts in the bakery with his daughter Courtney was one of his greatest pleasures. teaching her the customs that have been inherited over the years.

He led a full life throughout the previous few years, spending time with his wife Julie, two daughters, and six grandchildren. Numerous experiences fishing at the lake, hunting for horns in the woods, and enjoying the company of his grandchildren.

Brian loved to be called Dad, but his greatest treasures called him Papa. Seeing his girls and grandchildren grow into who they were supposed to be brought a wonderful sense of meaning to his life.

There are so many humorous tales, stories of care and selflessness, but in the end, he loved so much and was loved in return. If you want to look for him, walk in the woods or throw a line in the water. He will be there in one form or another.

Brian is preceded in death by his parents Mike and Florence Crubaugh.
