A guy who had been reported missing on November 15 was discovered deceased on Monday, according to an announcement made by the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit on Tuesday.
Following the statement that they had not heard from Brian Christian Carrol since November 15, the family filed a missing person report on November 17. All over the weekend, deputies looked for Carrol, issued alerts urging people to be on the lookout for him, and sought to track him down through his phone, but they were unsuccessful in their efforts to locate him.
Carrol’s body was discovered on Monday in a forested area, and the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit was dispatched to conduct an investigation based on the discovery.
At this time, there are no indications that any kind of criminal activity took place, and the University of Virginia requests that the community and the media respect the privacy of the victim’s family.
