Benjamin Ray Accident; 32 Years Old Kermit Man, Benjamin Ray Passes Away In A Fatal Crash
An accident involving two vehicles that occurred in Ward County has resulted in the death of a man from Kermit.
Early on Wednesday morning, Benjamin Ray Vasquez, 32 years old, was driving westbound on Business Interstate 20 when he was involved in a collision, as stated in a preliminary crash report from the Texas Department of Public Safety.
At the age of 38, Ryan On Business Interstate 20, John Halasz was traveling in an eastward direction and was getting closer to Vasquez.
According to the investigation, Vasquez is responsible for driving onto the north barrow ditch because he failed to drive in a single lane lane.
At that moment, he made a mistake in his evasive maneuver to the left, which resulted in Vasquez sliding sideways into the eastbound lane and being struck by Halasz.
The medical examiner pronounced Vasquez deceased at the scene.
