BABBAN GORO Completed Hausa Novel Document Written By Khadeeja Candy

Babban Goro is a love novel written by Khadija Candy that centers around the romantic relationship between two main characters, Saif and Kawarda Fuska. The novel is set in Nigeria and explores the complex emotions and societal pressures that influence the actions and decisions of the characters.

Description

The novel opens with Saif getting ready for an event, dressed in a black suit and fixing his necktie. As he admires himself in the mirror, he picks up a pear watch and sprays his body with perfume before leaving to see his mother. In his mother’s room, Saif’s father, Alhaji Bashir Bature, informs him of a news article reporting that the Minister of Petroleum, Dr. Salamatu Abwegi Yola, had attempted to kill him. Saif is shocked and begins to read the article to find out more information.

The novel then shifts to Kawarda Fuska, who is shown in a different light than Saif. Kawarda is shown as a woman who is unhappy with her life and makes reckless decisions that ultimately lead to negative consequences. Kawarda is introduced as the estranged wife of Saif and is shown to be regretful of her actions that led to their separation. However, despite her remorse, Kawarda is hesitant to take responsibility for her actions and blames others for her mistakes.

Throughout the novel, Saif and Kawarda’s relationship is explored in depth, and the reader is shown the complexities of their emotions and the societal pressures that influence their decisions. Saif is portrayed as a man who is deeply in love with Kawarda and is willing to do anything to win her back. Kawarda, on the other hand, is portrayed as a woman who is deeply conflicted and unsure about what she wants.

As the story progresses, Saif is faced with a dilemma when he discovers that Kawarda is in trouble and needs his help. Despite his initial reservations, Saif decides to help Kawarda and puts his own safety on the line to do so. This decision leads to a series of events that ultimately culminate in a heart-wrenching and emotional ending.

Babban Goro is a well-written love novel that explores the complexities of romantic relationships and the societal pressures that influence them. The characters are well-developed, and their emotions are portrayed in a realistic and relatable manner. The novel is also an insightful commentary on the societal norms and expectations that shape the lives of individuals in Nigeria.  Babban Goro is a must-read novel for anyone who is interested in exploring the complexities of love and the human condition.
