Azam Khan, the interim chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, departed from this life early on Saturday. The Rehman Medical Institute in Peshawar, where Khan was hospitalized after his health took a serious turn on Friday night, confirmed the news.
According to reports, Azam Khan was battling a serious stomach infection, which made things worse when he had a heart attack on Friday night. In the early hours of Saturday morning, Khan passed away from his illnesses in spite of the medical staff’s best attempts.
According to hospital spokesman Shabbir Shah, Azam Khan was very ill upon admission and was dealing with a number of health problems. Due to a sharp decline in his health, the Chief Minister was admitted to a private hospital in Peshawar on Friday night.
Azam Khan passed very tragically; he had been moving less lately because of his sickness, according to family and government sources.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has suffered a great loss with the demise of Azam Khan, and the whole area is in mourning over the loss of a devoted public servant. Condolence messages have begun to flood social media.

Azam Khan emphasized important constitutional concerns in his letter, and the province is currently experiencing financial difficulties.
He emphasized that the recent bombing in Bajaur on July 30, 2023, which claimed 63 lives, was a result of decades of militancy that was based on the particular circumstances of the area. Due to its geographical location, fluctuations in the economy, and the requirement to adhere to the constitutional framework governing the relationship between the Federation and the Provinces, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has lagged behind the rest of Pakistan.
