Andrew Price Obituary-Death News; Chicago Firefighter, Andrew Price Murdered in Line of Duty Battling Lincoln Park Blaze

Chicago, Illinois Tragically, Chicago fireman Andrew Price died on November 13 while fighting a fire in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. Price, a devoted employee of the Chicago Fire Department since 2009, lost his life battling the fire while performing his duty.

Price reportedly went through a shaft on the roof while battling a fire at a home in Lincoln Park. At Illinois Masonic Medical Center, he passed away from his wounds in spite of receiving emergency care.

In addition to being a cherished employee of the Chicago Fire Department, Andrew “Drew” Price, 39, taught at the academy. He had devoted more than ten years of his life to Chicago’s protection and service.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot issued a statement recognizing Price’s sacrifice and offering her condolences. “Andrew gave his life in service to the City of Chicago, and we will always be indebted to him for his bravery and commitment,” the speaker said.
