Amy Posocco Drown Accident: The person who unintentionally drowned on Friday, July 7, 2023 while swimming with family members in a New Hemisphere body of water has been identified as a 41-year-old Beverly inhabitant.

Amy Posocco, who was originally from Willington, Connecticut, drowned near Middle Pea Porridge Pond, according to Marine Police. According to the authorities, Amy was discovered 90 feet offshore and later declared deceased. Police are currently looking into how she passed away.

At roughly 8:45 p.m., a third report of a possible drowning on Madison’s Middle Pea Porridge Pond was received.

The swimmer had abandoned her family and entered the water in front of their rental home, which is what prompted the request for assistance. Officers and troopers from Troop E, New Hampshire Fish & Game, Marine Patrol, and Ossipee Fire & Rescue all showed up to offer assistance. Her funeral will be handled by Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc.

Amy Posocco, a 41-year-old resident of Beverly, Massachusetts, was reported missing when she didn’t come back to land after going swimming with some family members.

Family and friends started looking right away, but their efforts eventually proved fruitless. About 90 feet offshore, the diving team from Ossipee’s emergency services assisted in locating Posocco. The investigation is ongoing, and although the direct cause of death is now unknown, it is presumed to have been an accident.
