Abigail Cox, 20-year-old residence of Fishers has been identified has one of the three that was involved in a fatal accident in Arkansas on Wednesday morning, report says.
According to an incident report filed by the Arkansas Department of Public Safety, the crash occurred at 9:30 a.m. in rural Carroll County on U.S. 62 near Country Road 902.
Cox Abigail was one of five people traveling in a Chevy truck eastbound on U.S. 62 when a Chevy Equinox reportedly crossed the centerline and struck the truck head-on.
Both the driver and the passenger of the Equinox were also killed in the crash, the report shows. The two deceased were identified as Michael Weiss, 46, and Amy Weiss, 44, of Cotter, Arkansas.
The four additional occupants of the Chevy truck were all injured in the accident. Cox was the oldest occupant of the Chevy truck with the four injured persons being 18, 19, 19, and 19 years of age.

Abigail Cox, who is 20 years of age was a student of Purdue University and was a junior studying at the Mitchell E. Daniels School of Business.
In a tragic incident, Cox Abigail was among a group of five individuals who were traveling in an eastbound Chevy truck on U.S. 62. However, their journey took a devastating turn when a Chevy Equinox allegedly veered across the centerline, resulting in a head-on collision with the truck.
According to the report, both the driver and the passenger of the Equinox lost their lives in the crash. In a tragic incident, the two individuals who lost their lives have been officially identified as Michael Weiss, aged 46, and Amy Weiss, aged 44, both residents of Cotter, Arkansas.
State police responded to the crash on U.S. 62 near County Road 902 on Wednesday morning. Investigators say an SUV driven by Michael Weiss crossed the center line, crashing into a truck with five people inside, including Cox.
The driver and three passengers inside the truck suffered injuries in the crash.
Mourning her passing, Marian Boler, a student of the University of phonix wrote,
“Life is not promised. Kelsie was blessed with great counselors at Kanakuk in Missouri for 2 weeks. They were all so excited and full of energy the 5 mins I met them. These college students make a decision to pour into our next generation as a counselor. Leading them to independence and a walk with Jesus. I’m so grateful for them & I truly believe God places Kelsie in the right cabin for a reason.
The young lady to the left of Kelsie or 2nd left Miss Abigail Cox passed away yesterday on July 5th. The 5 mins of meeting her you are blown away by her energy, love for Jesus and life. Not to mention she is a student at Purdue University- smart girl.
