Leroy Brown Death News: Finch Varador leader Shot and Killed at Constantia 14th Ave., Roodepoort, South Africa
Leroy Brown Death News: It has been revealed that Leroy Brown, also known as Finch Varador leader, was shot and killed recently in the Virgin Active suburb of Constantia 14th Ave. Leroy “Finch” Brown, the boss of the Westbury Varados gang, was shot and killed in Roodepoor by as-yet-unidentified attackers. Leroy was taken into custody in 2019 after it was reported that he had murdered Reàgan Jacobs, the Fast Guns’ gang boss. After posting R20,000 bond, he was allowed to leave.
Brown was allegedly approached by two of the culprits as he was pulling out of the gym’s parking lot. At the scene of the incident, a callous individual flashed a handgun and fatally shot Brown. The second attacker waited for the gunman to complete the heinous deed while driving a white Mercedes C200. The murder was immediately followed by the two killers’ escape.
The terrible details were confirmed by police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Nevhuhulwi, who stated, “The victim was leaving the gym when two unknown individuals accosted him.” Following several gunshots, the person was declared dead on the spot.
There has been no arrest made as of yet, and it is unclear why this vicious incident occurred. This tragedy has striking similarities to that of January, when Keenen Sheldon Ebrahim, a prominent figure connected to the Fast Guns gang, too met an untimely and horrific end in a targeted hit west of Johannesburg. A group of unknown people ambushed Ebrahim’s white Mercedes Benz in a silver Jetta 6. And with that, Ebrahim was killed instantly by the impact with the pavement.
Colonel Mavela Masondo stated that the motive for Ebrahim’s murder was still unknown at the time. Rival gang disputes in and around Westbury have intensified as a result of multiple high-profile incidents involving gang leaders. Power shifts are often followed by unpredictable consequences, such as heightened community awareness and dissatisfaction.
While investigators continue to work through the subtleties of these targeted incidents, the community is forced to deal with the fallout from violence that transcends the streets.
