On November 19, 2023, at the age of 62, Julia Rushton, also known as Julie, passed away quietly in her sleep. The people of Linwood, Pennsylvania said goodbye to her. Julie’s life has been full and rich, with love, happiness, and a deep connection to her hometown of Boothwyn, Pennsylvania. Julie is a happy Chichester High School alumnus. She attributes the development of her friendships and her passion of music to her time spent in the marching band.
She pursued her studies at The Chubb Institute after graduating, demonstrating her dedication to ongoing professional and personal development. Julie enjoyed life’s small pleasures; she was well-known for her devoted support of the Eagles, Phillies, and Flyers as well as her love of animals and beach vacations.
However, she was happiest when she was spending time with loved ones. Those who were fortunate enough to have known her will always remember her contagious laugh, kind hospitality, and infectious smile.
Julie’s old residence, Holy Savior Catholic Church in Linwood, PA, is evidence of her commitment to her faith and the value of community. Her four cherished children, Jessica Campolongo, Lindsay Kemp, Adam Rushton, and Taylor Rushton, along with her devoted husband of 39 years, Robert “Bob” Rushton, are left to grieve her passing.
Julie’s thirteen cherished grandchildren are a testament to the unwavering love that pervaded her family’s existence and continue her legacy.
