Beacon Films CIC are mourning the sudden death of Beacon Films’ member, Luke Zuccaroli.

Luke passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Friday, November 17, 2023, his family announced.

“This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. Our beautiful boy Luke Zook, passed away in his sleep on Friday 17th November. Our hearts have been ripped out and we are utterly devastated,” Franco Zuccaroli wrote in a Facebook post.

“Anyone who knew or even met Luke once could tell you what a huge personality he was and he leaves a void so enormous in our lives, that it can never be filled.”

“Luke contributed so much to Beacon Films productions through his wit, professionalism and sense of humour, which earned him the title of our ‘go-to ideas man’ when it came to solving a creative problem on a project or coming up with entertaining storylines and snappy dialogue.”

“A wonderful actor and singer, Luke featured in so many of our most successful short films and created unique and iconic characters such as the love-struck pirate, in the award-winning Pirate and The Mermaid film.”
