According to authorities, an 18-year-old man in Waterbury passed away after being shot on Saturday.
Joseph Zavala, a resident of Waterbury, was taken to Saint Mary’s Hospital at 7:30 p.m., according to the police, suffering from a gunshot wound, he was in serious condition. According to police on Monday, Zavala has succumbed to his injuries.
Police say he was shot close to Kingsbury Street and North Main Street.
