Brookfield Fatal Shooting: Active Shooter, Police Responses to Shooting at Brookfield, Interstate 94 Closed Following Report of Shots Fired

Brookfield Shooting: There was a report this morning that there had been gunfire on Interstate 94 eastbound, east of Moorland Boulevard. This allegation is the subject of an investigation by the Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department.

The studied part of eastbound Interstate 94 will be closed for an indefinite period of time, according to a news release.

Drivers will need to take an exit on Moorland Boulevard and go east on West Bluemound Road until they reach Highway 100 in order to re-enter eastbound I-94. They will be able to return to eastbound I-94 from there.
