Connie Bennett Obituary Joplin, MO: Woman dies after being hit by vehicle in Joplin “Sam’s Club” parking lot.

On Saturday morning in the Joplin parking lot of “Sam’s Club,” 69-year-old Connie Bennett was hit by a car.

When Joplin police arrived on the scene at 11:30 a.m., they reported that the woman was taken to Mercy Joplin by EMS in a critical condition.

Officials confirmed on Sunday that the woman who was struck in the Sam’s Club parking lot in Joplin has passed away.

Although the cause of the incident is being looked into, according to JPD, no tickets were given out.
