Coastal Grand Mall Shooting: Active Shooter, 1 Injured After Shots Fired Near Myrtle Beach Shopping Center

Coastal Grand Mall Shooting; An investigation is underway by the Myrtle Beach Police Department into a shooting that left one person hurt on Friday night. In response to a report of shooting, MBPD officers were sent to the Coastal Grand Mall area at 5:58 p.m.

MBPD Cpl. Chris Starling says residents should expect more police presence in the neighborhood while investigations are ongoing. There was only one injury, however it’s not yet apparent how bad it was.

At the time of writing, the victim’s identify was not disclosed by the police. About fifteen police cars were reportedly seen by witnesses in front of the parking lot for the food court.
