James Hutcheson Obituary-Death News; CFSP Designation From The Academy (APFSP) Past President Passes Away
Despite putting up a valiant struggle, 64-year-old James Daniel “Danny” Hutcheson of Buchanan passed away on Monday, November 6, 2023, and joined his Lord and Saviour.
He was the only child of the late James “Jimmy” Hutcheson and the late Jo Ann Daniel Hutcheson, and he was born in Rockmart, Georgia, on June 30, 1959. His parents were the only ones who passed away before him: his uncles Fred Ezzell, Harrell McDowell, and Larry Hutcheson; his aunts, Frankie Hadley and Marie Ezzell; and his in-laws, Everett and Mildred Simpson.
Danny attended West Georgia College after graduating from Haralson County High School in 1977. He then went on to Gupton-Jones College of Funeral Service, where he graduated in 1982.
In addition, Danny attended Coosa Valley Tech, where he obtained his certifications as a paramedic and EMT Basic. In 1983, Danny and Patty launched their own funeral parlour in Buchanan, fulfilling his ambition of owning his own funeral home. In 2013, they opened a second facility in Temple. Danny was devoted to helping families in their hour of need, and he did so with honesty, decency, and compassion.
