On November 6, 2023, Elliot James Drees, a 15-year-old resident of Whitefish Bay, passed dead. He was Dustin and Sherie (Sarauer) Drees’ son, born in Milwaukee on May 3, 2008.
He liked to skateboard, paint, listen to music and see films with friends and family. He was renowned for having a vivid imagination and an imaginative perspective on everything that came his way during his life.
Although he showed signs of this when he was little through his imaginative play, it really took off as he grew older and developed into an artist. Drawings that he frequently shared with friends and family were kept in his several sketchbooks.

Every year, Elliot eagerly anticipated Halloween and delighted in sprucing up the family garden for the public to view. His dream had been to build a home that people eagerly anticipated seeing each Halloween.
He took pleasure in hearing people’s observations on the yard and in giving the trick-or-treaters a little Halloween fun. His wishes were undoubtedly fulfilled since more and more people visited his decorations each year, offering their opinions.
Elliot most of all loved a great deal. He loved nothing more than to spend quality time together with friends and family. He had a strong desire to make an impression and engage in meaningful dialogue. He was his family’s ray of sunshine.
