Lori Weakland Obituary-Death News; In Loving Memory Of Lori Weakland
Lori Renee Weakland, 44, of E. Sheridan Avenue in New Castle, passed away at her home on Sunday, November 5, 2023. She came into the world in Altoona, Pennsylvania, on November 15, 1978. Still with us is her mother, Sally L. (Wagner) Weakland, a native of New Castle.
Her father, Donald J. Weakland, Jr., died while she was a small child. For sixteen years, Lori was employed as a barmaid in Littleton, Colorado.
She used to work in human resources for the Pennsylvania Farmers of America in New Wilmington, three years ago. She double majored in environmental studies and human resource management at Penn State to receive her bachelor’s degree.
She frequently and enthusiastically volunteered at the Lawrence County Humane Society, where she was an ardent member. Her favourite things to do were take walks, especially in Colorado, spend time with her dog Lucy, and take care of her flower gardens.
She had a tremendous heart and always tried to do something kind for someone else. She was an extremely extroverted and gregarious person. Among those who will miss her are Maelena G. O’Connor, her mother, and her brother-in-law and sister, Lynn A. and Bill O’Connor, both of Aurora, Colorado.
Her mother resides with her as well. The Hastings Methodist Church will host a visitation on November 11, 2023, from 12 PM to 2 PM.
162 4th Avenue, Hastings, PA 16646 is the address. There will be a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Ashley Wyatt will provide a keynote address at the event. The Lawrence County Humane Society can accept donations and is situated at 628 Pearson Mill Road, New Castle, Pennsylvania 16101. William F. & Roger M. DeCarbo Funeral Home, located at 926 Cunningham Avenue, is in charge of funeral preparations.
