Max Albert Napierski Obituary-Death News; In Loving Memory Of Max Albert Napierski

On November 2, 2023, at 7:33 AM, Max Albert Napierski, 88, departed from Hickory Point Christian Village in Forsyth, IL.
On January 23, 1935, in Decatur, Illinois, John A. and Harriett L. Napierski welcomed Max into the world.

Right out of high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and served as a radar technician for two years in Japan and a brief while in Washington State.

He went to work at A.E. Staley’s after leaving the Air Force, where he finished his apprenticeship. After several years of employment at Staley’s, he retired.
Max cherished basketball and golf. He was a lifelong golfer and played basketball until he was in his late 40s. He loved going to thrift stores and antique stores and was an obsessive collector of antiques.

His family was the most significant aspect of his existence. He was very close to his brothers and took wonderful care of his mother. He cherished his nephews and nieces as though they were his own.
