Mary Bergh Obituary-Death News; Chemistry Teacher At Gwinnett County Public Schools, Mary Bergh Passes Away

Mary Bergh, a chemistry teacher at the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology (GSMST), passed suddenly. Mary Bergh of Norcross, Georgia was declared deceased by her surviving family members. She suffered a stroke on October 18 and passed away this morning. Mary was sixty years old when she passed away.

Mary was an experienced science teacher with a strong background in education administration. Her areas of expertise were literacy, common core state standards, K–12 education, gifted education, and customer service.

Her educational background was extensive; Lincoln Memorial University awarded her an Educational Specialist in Administration and Supervision with a concentration in Educational Leadership and Administration.

Mary had many different duties in addition to being a loving wife and mother. She was also a sister, daughter, friend, godmother, mentor, teacher, and more.

Her life served as an example of kindness and selfless service. Mary was a fervent supporter of the value of strong family ties, education, and ongoing self-improvement. Her forty years of teaching experience is a testament to her unwavering love of sharing information

She allegedly had to be taken urgently to Grady Hospital. She was taken to a hospice facility close to her Peachtree Corners home after numerous attempts to save her life, where she passed away quietly this morning. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers during this trying time.
