Eric Quinn Obituary-Death News; Assistant Women’s Golf Coach at Oglethorpe University, Eric Quinn Passes Away
Eric Quinn, a Norcross, Georgia native and assistant women’s golf coach at Oglethorpe University, lost away tragically. On Wednesday, November 1, 2023, he passed away, leaving his loved ones inconsolable. #
Oglethorpe University Athletics released a statement announcing his death, saying, “With great sadness and broken hearts, we share that Eric Quinn ’13 passed away Wednesday afternoon.” As of right now, the cause of Eric Quinn’s death is still unknown.
Eric is a Norcross High School alumnus. He afterwards enrolled at Oglethorpe University, where in 2014 he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), majoring in Business/Managerial Economics.
From August 2011 to May 2012, he worked as the Cart Barn Manager at Berkeley Hills Country Club for ten months. From August 2012 to May 2014, he worked for Dick’s Sporting Goods for a year and a half as a Certified Golf Club Technician and Sales Associate. He worked with Northwestern Mutual for two months, from May to June 2014, as a Financial Representative.
He worked with Michael Quinn and Associates as a drafting technician and chief financial officer. He worked as an assistant coach for women’s golf at Oglethorpe University. Eric’s amazing successes on the golf course demonstrated his remarkable talent. He finished his career with an impressive four major tournament wins, ranking fifth in Oglethorpe history.
