Black River Falls EMT/Firefighter and Assistant Chief Andy Whaley passed away on Thursday morning, November 2, 2023, following battle with Duodenal cancer.

The Jackson County community lost a father, son, brother, husband and a great firefighter and EMT in Andy. He served his community with bravery, dedication and selfless work.

Andy leaves behind his father, mother, his brother who also serves as a firefighter and a deputy, his beautiful wife, his two little boys and all of his brothers and sisters at the firehouse.
