Roger Lundy Obituary – Cause of Death: Longtime Indiana Golf team staff member, Roger Lundy dies following brief illness.

Roger Lundy of Greenwood, Indiana, passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023, following a brief illness.

According to the Lundy family, Roger had set up a trip for his Franklin College Women’s Golf team to play a tournament in Puerto Rico this past weekend.

“They were scheduled to fly out Saturday morning. Dad had everything ready to go then fell ill Wednesday. A decision was made that they would still go as my dad would have been upset if they didn’t,” Roger’s son, Pete wrote in a social media post.

Lundy was a member of the Indiana Golf team for over 20 years, he was a past Indiana PGA President and Franklin College Golf Coach. He was a mentor, coach, instructor and friend to so many.

“Our deepest condolences go to Denise, Peter, Paige, Connor and the entire Lundy Family. He will truly be missed. Words cannot express the magnitude of the loss we are feeling. Rest in Peace, Rog,” Indiana Golf team wrote in a Facebook post.
