Hoover Car Accident: Two dead, two injured in Tuesday morning crash on John Hawkins Parkway.

There were two fatalities and two injured victims, one of whom was a juvenile, following a collision on Hoover’s John Hawkins Parkway early on Tuesday. According to Hoover police, the collision occurred at roughly 6:19 a.m.

According to police, a Lexus struck a Nissan Rogue head-on while going the incorrect way in the westbound lanes of John Hawkins Parkway.

The two occupants of the Nissan Rogue died there, according to Hoover Fire medics.

According to authorities, the young person riding in the Lexus was brought to Children’s Hospital, while the driver of the vehicle was taken to a hospital. At this point, it’s unknown how serious their injuries are.

While police investigate the collision, John Hawkins Parkway is closed in the vicinity of Preserve Parkway and Trace Crossings Drive.
