Hayden Ryan Moon Township Obituary: In loving memory of Moon Area High School graduate killed in Monday crash in Avalon, Allegheny County.

Following a two-vehicle collision in Avalon, Allegheny County, an 18-year-old man is dead and a juvenile is critically injured.

According to county police, the collision occurred on Ohio River Boulevard and Cleveland Avenue on Monday about 5:30 p.m. Driving south on Ohio River Boulevard, a man in one car struck a car carrying a wife and two children.

The man, who was eventually identified as Hayden Ryan of Coraopolis, was brought to a nearby hospital and passed away there on Tuesday.

As of last update, one of the juveniles from the other vehicle was listed as critically injured. According to authorities, the woman and the other juvenile’s conditions are stable.

An inquiry is presently in progress.

According to a district spokesman, Ryan graduated from Moon Area School District in 2023.
