Tragically, a happy community member and mother of two from Port Huron, Michigan, went away. Trina Northrop’s husband Aaron Northrop and her two sons were heartbroken by her sudden death. After a protracted fight with breast cancer, the devoted wife and public health nursing advisor at PHN was reportedly confirmed dead yesterday.
As a longtime friend of Trina put it, “It feels surreal to be writing this. We literally grew up together. Although we weren’t as close in our adult lives, probably one of the only good things about social media is we got to keep in touch, and I got to see the wonderful life you created.
Trina was a great woman, wife, mom, daughter, sister, and friend to many. Prayers are also being sent to her family and friends as they mourn their loss.
