Gwilym Caesar Hughes Obituary-Death News; Former Wrexham Solicitor, Gwilym Caesar Hughes Passes Away
After a brief illness, Gwilym Caesar Hughes, a native of Llangollen, passed away at the age of 93 on Friday, October 6, in Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
He was one of the original members of GHP Legal, which today employs about 100 people and has a team of solicitors in Wrexham, Oswestry, and Llangollen.
But the tale really started in April 1970 when Mr Hughes, Gethin Davies, and Clive Jones—all Partners in Cyril Jones & Co.’s Wrexham & Shotton Practice—joined forces to form Gwilym Hughes & Partners.
Mr Hughes was also a director of the New Glyn Valley Tramway and Industrial Heritage Trust since 2009. He was also known for having run Caesar’s restaurant in Llangollen during the 1980s and was once a president of the Wrexham Rotary Club.
