The “last family photo” of a Canadian mother of three children, whose lives were tragically cut short in a drunk driving accident in 2015, was posted on social media.
In an emotional post on Friday, Jennifer Neville-Lake shared memories of her family, whose lives were permanently altered eight years ago when she and her husband, Marco Muzzo, were involved in an automobile accident.
The woman from Ontario reminisced about her final family portrait, which featured her late husband Edward Lake and her children Daniel, Harrison, and Milly.
“8 yrs ago today we took our last family photo in Harry’s classroom,” Neville-Lake wrote in a social media post. “Acc to the clock less then 24 hours later we would pick up our first new vehicle in 10 yrs, our family mini van.”
“I remember how much fun the kids had at the bbq, how I laughed and joked with some of the other parents about joining the mini-van brigade. How much fun Daniel had showing us his classroom, how Milly had hidden from Ed in the library just before this photo was taken, how Harry was so excited to show us his new photo on the classroom wall with his long hair. The pride I had in watching Harry eat part of a hamburger safely in a different environment and how he was cueing himself. Watching Daniel play with his friends after eating.”
