After a two-vehicle collision at an area notorious for deadly wrecks on Monday night, an 18-year-old male from Brodhead passed away.

Aaron Doyle who was operating the motorcycle involved in the crash was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Green County Coroner’s Office.

Around the intersection of Wis. 11/81 and County GG in the Town of Spring Grove, around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 23, the Green County Sheriff’s Office got a report of a two-vehicle crash with serious injuries. Deputies were sent to the location, along with members of the Brodhead Fire Department, Brodhead Police Department, and Brodhead EMS.

Following an initial inquiry, it was discovered that Doyle was riding east on Wis. 11 when he attempted to make a left hand turn onto County GG while riding a Red 2024 Kawasaki ZR900 sport bike. Rudy Bennett, 49, of Monticello was operating a black 2023 Chevrolet Silverado pickup when Doyle’s motorbike veered into oncoming traffic.
