Ethan Sulik-Doty Obituary Rochester, NY: RIT mourn the loss of Kate Gleason College of Engineering student Ethan Sulik-Doty.
The Rochester Institute of Technology are mourning the tragic and sudden loss of another cherished member of the campus community.
22-year-old Ethan Sulik-Doty of Whiting, Vermont, died from injuries sustained in a crash Tuesday near the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport.
According to reports, deputies responded to Scottsville Road near Airpark Drive at approximately 6:15 p.m. for a report of a crash involving a van and a motorcycle. Sulik-Doty was northbound on Scottsville Road at a high rate of speed when his motorcycle struck the passenger side of a van that was turning left onto Airpark Drive, report says.
Sulik-Doty was pronounced dead at Strong Memorial Hospital.
“Ethan Sulik-Doty passed away due to injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident last evening. Ethan joined our RIT family in the fall of 2019 from Whiting, Vt., and was working towards his master’s degree in electrical engineering as a BS/MS student in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering,” RIT said.
