Dillon Rinaldo Accident: Baltimore City Firefighter and LODD of Lieutenant Dillon Rinaldo Succumbed to Injuries Endured while Operating on Box Alarm 46-40
Dillon Rinaldo Accident: It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that the Baltimore City Fire Department announces the passing of Fire Lieutenant Dillon J. Rinaldo of Engine Company #46. Lieutenant Rinaldo passed away due to the injuries he suffered while battling a West Baltimore fire and rendering aid to his comrade.
“Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the Baltimore City Fire Department as they endure another LODD, said LT Dillon Rinaldo. Mayor Scott said, “He was a true hero, and his memory and legacy in Baltimore City and the Baltimore Fire Department will continue on. His willingness to put others before himself to try to protect his community each and every day is something that we should never forget and we should always consistently think about those women and men who do that each and every day, knowing that one day it could cost them their lives.”
