Rock Hill Motorcycle Accident: Victim identified in fatal Tuesday crash at the intersection of Celanese Road and Mount Gallant Road.
The deceased victim in a fatal two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle on Tuesday evening has only been identified as a 49-year-old woman.
The incident happened at the intersection of Celanese Road and Mount Gallant Road shortly before 6:30 p.m.
A 2013 Toyota Tundra was attempting to turn left onto Mount Gallant Road while driving south on Celanese Road, according to the police. The 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle was heading north on Celanese Road when the truck made the turn.
The 49-year-old lady who was operating the motorbike was evacuated from the scene to Piedmont Medical Centre, where she ultimately passed away. According to police, her identification has not been made public.
Investigations into the crash are still ongoing.
