Richard Fishman Obituary-Death News; American Israel Public Affairs Committee’s Co-CEO, Richard Fishman Passes Away

Richard Fishman, co-CEO of AIPAC (the American Israel Public Affairs Committee), unexpectedly passed away at the age of 62. His death on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, devastated his friends and family.

Richard was a fervent supporter of the US-Israel alliance, according to a publication written by Congresswoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, which led to his official death. And I was always appreciative of Richard’s insight and counsel. The exact cause of Richard Fishman’s death and its circumstances are still unknown.#

Fishman’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University attests to his comprehensive academic background that pairs well with his wealth of real-world experience.

Ohio native Richard Fishman served as the Distinguished Managing Director of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and is also the Distinguished Executive Director of the American Israel Education Foundation, which is AIPAC’s essential auxiliary educational arm.

He began his adventure with AIPAC in 1985, which is when he first became involved in the complex worlds of foreign policy, political mobilisation at the grassroots level, and political dynamics.

Over the course of his career, which has taken him to a variety of places such as Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, California, and notably to Florida for six years as the Regional Director of AIPAC, Mr. Fishman has developed a deep level of knowledge and understanding. Notably, in a recent phase of his remarkable career, he also held the position as Director of Development for AIPAC.
