Johannah Sebolaishi, presenter of Thobela FM who is popularly known as JJ Menu has passed away on October 23, 2023 at the age of 39 according to reports.
Johannah Sebolaishi Seloga best known as JJ Menu was born in Mokopane on July 25th 1984. Grew up in the dusty streets of Mamelodi East, then went back to Mokopane where her journey with radio stared.
Mourning her passing, Kgadi Mmanakana wrote, “Oh maan JJ Menu Seloga 💔 it’s not long I’ve helped you with your business strategy to launch JJ Menu Projects, you were so excited about your vision. And the sense of urgency you had to launch JJ Menu Battle of Sunday Schools…😭I’m glad you trusted me with your vision and my proposal helped you secure sponsors to implement it for 2 years. I’m just glad you were able to implement it. I’m sorry, there were still other plans in the works…plus we were discussing you being my Limpopo publicist💔 I’m sorry. Rest well. You were remarkable. You lived with grace, and your legacy with live forever, for it is all these lives you’ve touched, especially the kids with “Lesang Bana” Go Thobela FM Yaka you lived, you were here. It was year 2005 when she joined a local radio station in Mokopane fm as a Presenter/producer and news reader, few years later she joined Thobela fm in August 2007 as a kiddies show presenter (Mahlasedi) ,which revealed her love and passion to work with kids through radio and even outside, joining hands with different projects dealing with issues involving kids has since been a daily engagement for this mother of two.
JJ Menu is a motivational speaker , programme director and an events organiser which she does when she’s not busy with radio. One of her favourite books is A return to love by Marianne Williamson.
