Jeff Nelson Obituary: In loving memory of Lakeville man killed in Sunday crash in West Albany Township.

In southern Minnesota on Sunday afternoon, a motorbike crash claimed the life of a man from Lakeville.

The crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Highway 60 near County Road 13 in West Albany Township, approximately 16 miles southwest of Wabasha, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

According to investigators, Jeffrey Patrick Nelson, 36, was riding his Victory motorbike westward on the highway when it “left the roadway.”

The state patrol reports that Nelson was wearing his helmet at the time of the collision.
