Mark Toia Obituary-Death News; World-Acclaimed Director Who Filmed The First Rapido 60 Video Is Dead
The original Rapido 60 video was filmed by the highly regarded director Mark Toia, who sadly went away. The death of film director Mark Toia was declared on Twitter this morning, Monday, October 23, 2023. He passed away suddenly, based on accounts. Official information about the cause of his death has not yet been made public.
His films Monsters of Man (2020), UFO Man, and The Last Yowie made him famous. During this trying time, our thoughts and prayers are with his friends, family, and the film industry.
Filmed by the internationally recognised director Mark Toia, the first Rapido 60 video was created. He has worked as a director of photography and filmmaker for over 25 years, shooting high-profile commercial campaigns for clients all around the world.
During that time, he has expanded his experience beyond cameras and on-set shooting to encompass pre-production, directing, and post-production work by taking advantage of the challenging nature of his films.
Furthermore, he is the writer and producer of the science fiction movie “Monsters of Man,” which is slated for distribution on over-the-top channels in 2020, right before Christmas. The film’s story centres on a group of sophisticated, lifelike robots that are released into the Southeast Asian forest.
He paid for it out of his own pocket, which was less than $2 million USD. Most of his approach to the project was experimental, and it began with a question: could he, with his experience as a filmmaker and industry knowledge, make a picture on a very constrained budget that had studio-caliber special effects and high production values? The majority of the response to this question was based on the person’s previous experience working in the commercial industry.
