Amanda Daigle Obituary: On Saturday, September 16, 2023, at the Rose Monahan Hospice House, Amanda Jane Daigle, a native of Groton, Massachusetts, and a fourth-grade teacher in the Acton-Boxborough school district, lost her brave fight with pancreatic cancer. At the time of her passing, she was 43 years old.

Who Was Amanda Daigle?

Amanda Jane Daigle, a daughter of John and Deborah (Krawczyk) Guthrie, was born in Lowell, Massachusetts. She was a beloved sister to Ryan and Christopher Guthrie, her two brothers. Bishop Guertin awarded Amanda her high school certificate in 1998.

Amanda earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Quinnipiac University. She continued her education at Merrimack College, where she earned a Master’s degree.

The last job Amanda held was as a fourth-grade teacher in the Acton-Boxborough school system. She had previously worked for the Westford Public Schools at the Norman E. Day School.

Amanda had a profound effect on the lives of many children with her kind, composed demeanour and commitment to each and every student who attended her classroom.
