Zoraida Bartolomei and Roberto Rolon Death; Family of Four and Two Dogs Found Dead In Romeoville Home

According to the police, four people, including two children, were found shot to death near Romeoville on Sunday night.

At at 8:43 p.m., police were called to the 500-block of Concord Avenue. When they arrived, they discovered two adults and two children there dead from gunshot wounds. Also discovered shot dead were three dogs, according to investigators.

Police stated they are looking for a suspect and not treating the incident as a murder-suicide during a press briefing on Monday morning.

Police named the two deceased adults as Zoraida Bartolomei and Roberto Rolon. Police claimed that the two children who were killed were linked to the adults, but they withheld their names.

The residence in the 500-block of stated neighbours said the family had just recently moved into within the last few months, Concord Avenue.

Following the discovery of four people shot dead inside a residence, Romeoville police provide an update on the investigation.

One of the victims’ family members allegedly called the police on Sunday morning to ask for a well-being check after they hadn’t heard from them and one of the victims failed to arrive at work.

All four of the victims were found to have been shot to death when police arrived at the scene around 8:45 p.m. on Sunday.

They have been constantly searching the house for proof as they look for leads.

Romeoville Police Deputy Chief Chris Burne said: “Due to the timeframe that has passed, more than 18 hours from the time we were contacted, we are not asking anybody to shelter in place.” “We are not looking right now.”
