Nohemy Hernandez-Laines Death; Identified As Woman Found Dead In Salisbury Home

A woman was found dead in Salisbury over the weekend, a homicide investigation is currently under way. According to authorities, it is the first homicide to occur inside the borders of Salisbury this year.
Just after 9 a.m. on Sunday, officers were summoned to a residence in the 800 block of Park Avenue, according to a report from Salisbury Police.
Nohemy Hernandez-Laines has been identified as the 35 years old woman who was found dead in Salisbury.
Nohemy Hernandez-Laines, 35, was discovered with injuries that were consistent with an assault, according to the investigators. Despite their best efforts, police and firefighters claim that the woman passed away at the scene.
Police say that the murder might have happened at any moment between midnight and around 8 a.m. Investigation has started on the case to determine the cause of death as no suspect is arrested yet.
