In a recent court appearance, Mr. Gibson, a twenty-eight-year-old individual, faced charges of assaulting Mr. Brett Sheffield, who is thirty-eight years old. The incident took place on Portland Street in the city of Toronto last month.
Per reports, it has been revealed that Mr. Sheffield, a prominent businessman, was present in Toronto alongside his colleagues for a series of work meetings and a team bonding event.
According to authorities, diligent efforts were made to administer life-saving measures at the location prior to the transportation of Mr Sheffield to a medical facility. Tragically, despite these efforts, he succumbed to his injuries on August 30.
