In a press release issued by the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), it was reported that two fathers tragically lost their lives in a crash in Franklin Township. As a result, their loved ones are now in mourning.
According to troopers, 35-year-old Donald Young was reportedly travelling in a westerly direction on State Route 756 at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Sunday when he lost control of his vehicle, veering off the right side of the road and colliding with a utility pole in the vicinity of Bolender Road. In a dramatic turn of events, the car collided with a tree and a fence after overturning.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP), Young was declared deceased at the scene by the Clermont County Coroner’s Office. Investigators also confirmed that 47-year-old Bobby Long, a passenger, was pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner’s office.
“Rip Donald Young and Bobby Long I didn’t want to believe what I heard tonight but when I arrived reality smacked me in the face it still doesn’t seem real boys…,” a tribute post shared on Facebook read.
