University of Dayton Shooting: Authorities are investigating reports of a gun-related incident in N. The incident occurred Sunday at the University of Dayton, located at 300 College Park, Dayton, OH.

Authorities have not shared any information about this shooting. There is no word on anyone sustaining an injury at this time.

Police stated the investigation was ongoing and “further information will be released as the investigation proceeds.” The circumstances leading up to the shooting were not immediately known.

The University of Dayton is a private, Catholic research university in Dayton, Ohio. Founded in 1850 by the Society of Mary, it is one of three Marianist Universities in the United States and the second-largest private university in Ohio.
