Angela Michelle Car and Anotl Joseph Laguerre Jr. Shooting; Three People Identified as Victim Killed In Racially Motivated Mass Shooting


Three victims were tragically killed on Saturday in a racially motivated shooting at a Dollar General store located on Kings Road. In a press conference held on Sunday at 1:15 p.m., Sheriff T.K. Waters identified Jacksonville as the location.

In a tragic incident, the shooter, who has been identified as a White male from Clay County, took the lives of three Black individuals inside the store. According to Waters, the shooter subsequently turned the gun on himself.

In a recent update provided by the sheriff, a detailed timeline of events has been revealed. At precisely 1:08 p.m., an 11-round shot spotter was triggered, alerting authorities to a potential threat. Just 13 seconds later, surveillance footage captured the shooter, identified as Ryan Christopher Palmeter, positioned in front of the store.

In the video, Palmeter can be seen firing shots into a black KIA vehicle, tragically claiming the life of the first victim, Angela Michelle Carr.

In a dramatic turn of events, Palmeter proceeded to make his way into the Dollar General store, where he reportedly targeted his second victim, identified as Anotl Joseph Laguerre Jr.

In a timeline provided by Sheriff Waters, it has been reported that at 1:08:24, several witnesses were observed leaving the store through the rear exit. Additionally, at 1:08:47, it was noted that Palmeter also exited through the same rear door.

At precisely 1:09 p.m., a round shot spotter was triggered, followed by Palmeter re-entering the store’s rear door at 1:09:13. In a dramatic turn of events at precisely 1:09:30, Palmeter took aim at the security cameras, unleashing a barrage of shots.

However, despite the intensity of the moment, Palmeter’s marksmanship proved to be less than perfect as the bullets narrowly missed their intended target.

At precisely 1:09:50, the initial 911 call was placed. At precisely 1:10 p.m., Jerrald De’Shaun Gallion made his entrance into the store accompanied by his girlfriend. In a recent incident, a round shot spotter was activated at precisely 1:13 p.m. Shortly after, at 1:13:10, an individual identified as Palmeter allegedly shot Gallion, who became the third victim in this unfortunate event.

In a dramatic turn of events at 1:13:12, Palmeter was seen pursuing a witness through the store, frantically firing shots in her direction. Miraculously, his aim proved unsuccessful as none of the bullets made contact with the fleeing individual.

At precisely 1:13:25, a woman was observed making her way out of the store through the rear door. Just twelve seconds later, at 1:13:37, Palmeter discharged a shot through the very same rear door.

During the press conference, Sheriff TK Waters expressed condolences and stated that prayers are being offered for the loved ones affected by the tragic incident caused by the perpetrator’s senseless act of violence.
