In Townsville, a crime scene has been officially declared at a residence following the discovery of a deceased woman. The woman, aged 46, was found lifeless, prompting an investigation into the circumstances surrounding her untimely demise.
A crime scene has been officially declared at a residence located in North Ward, Townsville, as authorities investigate the unexpected passing of a 46-year-old woman.
According to a spokesperson from the Queensland Police Service (QPS), authorities were summoned to the specified location around 4:15 pm on August 1. Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered the lifeless body of a woman at the scene.
According to the spokeswoman, the death is currently not being regarded as suspicious.
As of 6:00pm, investigators, along with a forensic team, were still present at the scene.
